  • When the world wears heavily in my life, my church family walks me back into the Bible and my beautiful core beliefs. BCF is a family waiting to welcome you. Our church mission is to 'create a powerful environment through authentic community where the Holy Spirit can freely transform people's lives, equipping them to reach their full potential for God's kingdom.'

We raised our daughters in this church, I accepted Christ as a result of the teaching of this BCF family, and we continue to be actively involved even though we still live about 40 minutes away.

    My home!

  • BCF is my church home. We have raised our children in this church setting, and all of them continue to walk in faith and firm foundation, in part, because of this body of believers.
Worship is invigorating, and I love to compare this experience with a football game. Who doesn't love cheering for your team. I love cheering for God/Jesus! What an awesome Father we have, and I love telling Him how much I appreciate HIm. BCF worship encourages that! Hallelujah!
The teaching has always been challenging and thought producing. I have been a part of a church throughout my life, but I really treasure getting fresh perspectives on "old" stories, verses. Believers are encouraged to be a good Berean and revisit those Scriptures, reflect, study. God is good, and the Holy Spirit keeps things honest!
This church desires to provide a strong foundation for the children as well. Kids learn, retain, and build on faith. This is one of the initial reasons we began attending BCF, it believes in teaching children foundations they can stand on, regardless of where life takes them.
Please consider coming, we will welcome you, no matter where you are in your faith walk!

  • BCF has been my home church going on 22 years now. If I could choose one word to describe my church, it would be authentic. It's full of people of all sorts and from various walks of life who are at different stages in their journey with Jesus. If you're looking for perfect people, you probably won't find many here... but hopefully you'll find people who love Jesus, their community, and the world. Everyone has an off day on occasion, but I think my church is characterized by friendliness, compassion, and making people feel at home.

What initially drew me here and has kept me here for so many years is that the people of BCF are real... real people with real issues, just like I have. I appreciate that I've always been able to be "me" there, a safe place for me to grow with other people unafraid to admit their own struggles, failings, praises, and successes. This comes from pastors and elders who have a passion for Jesus and a passion for people to be in an environment where they can know Jesus, can grow and use the gifts that God has given them.

We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, that the gifts of prophecy, healing, tongues, etc. are relevant today to build up and encourage the body of Christ, and to encourage and grow those gifts in our church. I come from a Church of the Nazarene background, so I found this a bit strange when I first came here as I had never experienced these before. But now, through good teaching and a good environment, I've experienced these in my life and have had the opportunity to speak into the lives of others.

I've been involved in worship ministry, teen ministry, and children's ministry in the church over the years. I've formed so many good friendships here and have met so many quality people. We've been through many seasons of church life together, both good and bad. Through it all, I've always admired and respected our pastors and elders for their leadership... real people who struggle like everyone else but who have a deep well of God's love for people and their church. I've been blessed and ministered to by so many people who have met my spiritual needs and physical needs... they have truly been the hands and feet of Jesus to me, and have helped me be His hands and feet to others.

So that's why I chose the word authentic for my church... imperfect, real people with a passion for Jesus who love on those who need Him in their lives. If that's something that sounds appealing to you, I'd encourage you to come for a visit... I look forward to making some new friends.

My husband and I were in Millersburg to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to visit BCF instead of skipping church this week. Under normal circumstances I would not post about a bad church experience; one visit doesn't always give you a good idea of what a church is like. These were not normal circumstances. The people were polite and even friendly, and I won't get into the showiness of the "worship". The main issue is a lack of discernment on the part of the pastors and those in leadership. Somehow, the leaders of this congregation allowed a false prophetess to guest speak. It was disturbing. This woman was clearly not working for the God of the Bible, but for the god of this world, and my heart is breaking for the people who were decieved. Christians need to wake up and understand that Satan doesn't need you to outright worship him, he doesn't even need you to be a bad person. In fact, the one tactic that has proven most effective is to give you lies mixed with truth. Poison goes down easier with sugar, but sugary poison still kills you.
